On 1st April 2011 DSD STREICHER Rohrtechnik GmbH in Delitzsch merged with its associated company STREICHER Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG and now operates under STREICHER Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG, branch Delitzsch.

Our customers only benefit from this merger: both locations remain the same, but in the future we are able to offer an even wider range of services to our customers guaranteeing the usual individual settlement of projects which are tailored to the customer requirements.

The company established in 1972 is characterized by a history of challenges. From its establishment until 1989 the main focus was on the underground laying of large pipelines, plant construction and building services. Furthermore, the company, at that time employing 400 people, was involved in the construction of the “Druschba” natural gas pipeline leading from Russia to Western Europe. Between 1990 and 1994 the company was divided into 4 divisions and during this period of time the company of Rohrtechnik Delitzsch EG was developed with laying its main focus on building services. In 1994 DSD Dillinger Stahlbau took over 80% of the shares and turned DSD Rohrtechnik Delitzsch into a general company for building services. Between 2002 and 2006 the activities were shifted again, making DSD a complex service provider in the field of plant construction. In January 2006 MAX STREICHER GmbH & Co. KG aA acquired 51% of the shares, 49% being held by MAN Ferrostaal AG. Since December 2006, DSD STREICHER Rohrtechnik GmbH is a fully-owned member of the STREICHER Group, now having 80 employees.
